At Bethany Children’s House, we strive to create an environment where each child feels valued, respected, and inspired to learn. Our days are filled with hands-on learning, outdoor play, messy art, big feelings, quiet discoveries, and proud moments of independence. We love getting to watch childhood unfold each day — the confidence that comes from trying something new, the excitement of discovering an interest, the comfort of belonging, and the everyday magic that happens when children are given the space to be themselves.
What is Montessori Preschool?
Montessori preschool is a child-centered approach to learning that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence. Instead of a one-size-fits-all classroom, children are guided at their own pace through hands-on activities that help them learn through exploration and real-life experiences.
In a Montessori environment, teachers act as supportive guides, helping children build important skills like problem-solving, concentration, creativity, and kindness toward others. The classroom is carefully designed to encourage independence and
a love of learning from an early age.
